Charles Marlow, a fictional character created by the writer Joseph Conrad, is the narrator of novels such as Lord Jim, Youth and Heart of Darkness.
Conrad was a pioneer both for developing a concise and rigorous style, as well as for the atmosphere he described. Between 1870 and 1914, the world experienced its first era of commercial and financial globalization. Conrad grasped his zeitgeist and gave Marlow the voice of an insightful analyst, one committed to truth, human insight and practical problem solving.
In recognition of this vision, we chose to call our firm Marlow. Our name reminds us of an intelligence that today, in the second era of globalization, we consider essential.
